Austin, the chef & owner of One White Street Restaurant in Tribeca and Amanda are having a baby shower in June.
And they are not going to find out whether it’s a boy or a girl until the baby is actually born.
And that’s a big part of the concept of the baby shower: nobody will know the baby’s gender at the baby shower so let’s embrace the confusion.
Austin wanted me to design the baby shower invitation with some drawings so I made some iterations today that had some relevance to the following words: cheeky & fun.
Let’s take a look at one of them since I am only journaling for 5 minutes:
This didn’t make it but I had the most fun while drawing this.
Let’s look at my second favorite one or like a weird or interesting one that might not make it but had its own live spirit:
Time is up.
More things to come later.

Okay, let’s share the progress I’ve made for this wedding invitation card.
Oh not wedding, the baby shower invitation card.
First Iteration
Second Iteration
Last Iteration

I like the middle one because it shows the commitment to marriage and growing a family with little details like the hairs being stuck in the drainage holes in the bathroom which shows the reality of having a family while juxtaposition happening with smiles on the parent’s faces that brings out the commitment aspect.
Overall, I hope out of the three here, they pick the middle one.
